Doug Eckley, Ph.D., FSA, MAAA
Doug has experience in actuarial positions in both consulting
firms and insurance companies. His experience auditing, cashflow
analysis, financial reporting, and mergers and acquisitions.
His clients have included both domestic and international.
Doug has the necessary experience and education (basic and
continuing), per the Academy of Actuaries Qualification Standards
for Prescribed Statements of Actuarial Opinion, to render
a public statement of actuarial opinion.
In addition to his other credentials, Doug is a Ph.D. in
Economics. He has also taught actuarial science as an adjunct
professor at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. and Risk
Management, Financial Institutions and Principles of Finance
at Howard University in Washington, DC.
Doug is a CPA (NY only) but is not currently active. He
has also spoken at various Society of Actuaries Meetings.
